Finalization Over Lugmah's Return to Her School Site

In the temporary school shack of Lugmah Elementary School, this morning at 10:29, urgent meeting happened. It was attended by the PTA officers, concerned parents and community members. The meeting began with a prayer. Sir Alnasvier I. Abduljalil, the Teacher In-Charge of the school recite Suratul Fatiha’.

Discussion over the return of Lugmah Elementary School to her original site challenged both teachers and parents in the meeting. Chance of the school to continue staying in the temporary location was over. The landowner could no longer permit for the extension of school shack for the accommodation of Grade 3 to Grade 4 pupils in the advent of June, 2018. Well-planned preparation should start as soon as possible.

Completion Ceremony of Lugmah Elementary School became the pathway for her homecoming at about 1 kilometer away from the main road of Indanan-Parang National Highway. As the teachers opened the upcoming ceremony to the conference, many parents suggested to have it on the school site. The Presiding Officer, Sir Alnasvier I. Abduljalil, TIC okayed the unanimous suggestions of the both teachers and parents.

The date, March 29, 2018 in the afternoon was already scheduled for the Completion Ceremony of the school before this meeting was called for. Thus, preparation for the materials needed for the construction of venue came next in the discussions among teachers and parents. Everyone agreed to construct canopy out of the local materials such as bamboo, coconut leaves, marang leaves. Every parent in attendance was required to bring 10 pieces of roofs made of coconut leaves and marang leaves.

The PTCA officers led by Julamri Julkari, the President committed themselves for the construction of the canopy. They would start the construction on Thursday, March 22, 2018. Sir Alnasvier I. Abduljalil promised to help them build the canopy. Teachers also promised to tackle the ornaments or decorations of the canopy to make the venue of the Completion Ceremony (Moving Up of Kindergarten and Recognition of All Grade Levels) amazing.
